Whenever there is an event in church or the fellowship Sunday at the end of each month. We need to prepare more than usual Sunday service. For example, we need to prepare the bread and the cups on the day of the communion, and on the Sunday of the fellowship Sunday, we need a vegetable helper to make the entire meal fetching process smoothly and fast. Baptism day also needs to prepare a baptismal pool. If you are willing to do it at least once a month. If you willing to serve HOB, come and join us!
Description
- Fellowship Sunday:
- Preparing the communion needs: setting up the necessary supplies for the food table, putting the sacrament cakes in a paper bag, collecting the sacrament cups and paper bags used by the congregation, and cleaning the sacrament utensils
- Baptism: preparing the baptismal pool, heater, and cleaning the pool
- Love Feast: Serving meals, making drinks, picking bread, cleaning beverage barrels and bread trays
- Newcomer meeting: guide, refreshment and leaflet and seat preparation
- Church activities : Depending on the supplies needed for the activity preparation activities, (Easter, Advent, Thanksgiving… etc.)
Requirement
A heart that is willing to respond to God’s love and committed to serving.
Time
- Fellowship Sunday
- Communion preparation on Saturday 7 pm or Sunday 8 am
- pour juice on 9:30
- collection of used communion cups 10:30 am and cleaning cups
- preparation of baptismal pool on Saturday night
- baptismal pool inflation and set up a water heater to discharge water on Sunday on Sunday 8 am
- baptismal pool cleaning on Sunday 11 am or 5:30 pm
- Feast preparation on Sunday 10:15 am
- pick up bread at 10:30 am or 5:15 pm.
- newcomers’ meeting preparation on Sunday 10:30 am
